DREAM HOUSE

Joris's, Lucas's, Acély's and Laura's Dream House  :

Hi everybody, my team of architects and me are going to present our dream house that it will going your dream house after this presentation.

This is our dream house, it’s not an ordinary house because it’s a boat which have a lot of technology.

Why a boat ?

Because with a boat we have access at all natural elements like the water the sun and the wind.

With the water we can keep moving with pitch propeller witch work with the current . Of course we use the water for drink or shower, we process to the desalination to use the water directly.

With the sun, we use solars panels they heat up our water and it’s very useful et trendy.

And with the wind we have a  sail to keep moving too when the weather is with us.

Furthermore, we can navigate/sail as we wish and enjoy the sea air. With a boat/ship, we are freer/very free. The outside is made of recyclable materials like wood for the hull, glass and plastic.

The environmental way is very important for us so in the back of the boat we have a net which pick the waste in the water, to be independent we have create a vegetable garden and a compost bin in our house.

Our dream house is a modern House. Also we want to put some innovante technologie. A system like Siri could be very interessant. For exemple when we enter in a room during the night, some sensor (capteur) will detect our presence and the lights will turn on and when we leave the room, the light turn off. Moreover a lot of Robots could be useful to take care of our house. First of all robots who cook when we want, after robots who clean the house and our clothes when we give laundry to them are essential. So all this technologie must be as an artificial intelligence because these robots have to be able to understand our desires in order to anticipate what we will ask to them.

Moreover, we chose to give at our house, an amazing connection. Indeed, in collaboration with a very important laboratory, specializing in the computers sciences, we are proud to announce that our house will be the first house to get the 5G ! So, we are going to live in the faster place of the world !

So, to finish about the technology, I can’t forget to present a wonderful invention : the smart screen. All the mirror in the house will be touch sensitive. Thus, the morning we couldcheck the weather, and at the same time, wash our tooth. UNBELIEVABLE no ?!

And furthermore, we all are goitn to have a little watch on the wrist, which will show the contents of our phone in our hand. It’s sure, our live will be so much easier…  

The « must » / positive point which makes our house an exceptional and utopic place are firstly its 250 square meters with 5 bedrooms in the basement - glazed so we can see the water and fishes – and 5 bathrooms with touch screen mirrors.
Of course, we can’t forget about the meeting room in the center of the house. There is a tree in a glass cylinder which allows the light to reach it/the tree. It’s very pleasant! The deck of the boat is an immense/a huge wooden terrace with a Jacuzzi and an infinity-edge pool.

Our house is located in the Pacific, off the coast of Latina America, more precisely on our island which is named “Manuae”. It’s a desert island, with coconuts and palm trees, white sand and rivers. We are in the middle of rocks and plants. That’s why, we have decided to create a tree house. The environment permits natural swimming-pools, sources of hot water like thermal baths. Moreover, animals like parrots or monkeys can come around our house, without mutual discomfort.

Our house is totally in the air. We can access it with ladders, sky bridges, slides, zip-lines : they allow people to get around the house. In the centre, a big tree trunk maintain the frame of the house. We have 8 bedrooms (and one in particular which is a glass bubble in the higher tree), a lot of bathrooms, a big open-plan kitchen with a living-room, an open-air library, a bar for parties, a rooftop with a view at 360 degrees of the island.

Mostly, we use natural materials : wood, rocks, paper. Even if we use this type of materials, we built our house also with concrete, glass, steel for the modern hand. We wanted to mix two sides in only one house, the modern for facility and comfort, and the natural for environment respect and harmony with the area.

Moreover for more accessibility, we have installed a heliport with our own helicopter.

We particularly wanted to use the energy which is offered by the environment : solar energy with solar panels installed on the top of specific trees, hydraulic energy with waterfalls and dams, wind turbine energy with the warmth of the climate. Indeed, in our island, it rains only 15 days per year. Thanks to these renewable energies, we have equipped the house with automatic lights and a control centre for all electronic items.

Our dream house is located at the seaside but not far from mountain, in a region which seems to Basque Country with a mild climate.

It is a great and modern house in agreement with sustainable developpement. In fact we have decided to fit solar panels on the roof in order produce our own electricity. Furthermore in the great valley next to our home, there are wind turbines which provide us a large part of our needs in electricity.

Moreover, we have decided to install great glass windows in order to take advantage of the sunlight to warm our rooms naturally.

On the other hand, we would built a great greenhouse in order to make experiences which we can use and study in our laboratory. These manipulations will permit us to research alternatives for the intensive agriculture. For example, we will study the impact of composts on the growing of plants.

To conclude, this house will be able to receive our partners thanks to our screening room where we will introduce our new projects and get together around a drink in our little bar.

Finally, we plan to create an association in order to clean the beach collecting wastes. These trashes will be recycled and optimized.
